I just replaced the lid lock assembly on my Cabrio washer. I started a “clean washer” cycle to test the washer and it ran fine. But now my washer will not turn on at all. I’ve checked the outlet and there is electricity going to the outlet. What could possibly be causing the washer to not turn on after replacing the lid lock assembly.

Hello Ginger, Thank you for your inquiry. It is possible that the lock control assembly on the control board has failed. Check the board for any visible damage or loose connections. We hope this helps.

Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.

Washer plate replacement
As women, myself and my daughter completed this fairly simple repair. The replacement washer plate was top quality and included the washplate replacement screw. Additionally, we purchased a tube of lock tight to further secure bolt placement. The most difficult part of the repair is to disengage old screw and securely replace with new one
