The charcoal filters needed to be replaced
I dropped the grease filters ( two under the unit) and then removed the dirty charcoal filters. The new charcoal filters were then snapped into place and the washed grease filters were then put back. The entire job took about. 5 minutes. No tools needed.

On-door water/ice dispenser lights failed, paddles did not work to dispense
It took me time to remove the parts and suss out the issue, but the repair itself was EASY. A wire ribbon connected to the circuit board had gone bad. One Phillips head screwdriver, 7 screws, to get at the old one, pull it out, replace it with the newly ordered part. NO PROBLEM. Ladies, you can do IT!! You have the power!

Replace charcoal filters in microwave - vents inside.
Remove the screws holding the bottom vent plate to the upper unit, using a Phillips head screwdriver. Loosen a front screw last, but don't remove it. While supporting the plate in one hand, unscrew the final screw with the other. Lower the front of the bottom plate - tabs in the rear will prevent the plate from falling out. Bend the o

uter tabs holding the old filters in place, to allow them to be slid out. Insert the new filters & bend the tabs back into locking position. Raise the bottom plate and finger tighten a front screw. Replace and tighten all screws. This is also a simple way to remove/clean/replace the mesh filters. I've pulled the D-rings off trying to slide them out from below.
