Unit does not pick up water. Compressor seams to be running, hot but no water pickup. What is the problem?

Hello Marilyn, Thank you for the question. If the dehumidifier is not collecting water and the room temperature is over 65 degrees, there could be an issue with the fan motor. If there is no air or little, inspect the fan cover and evaporator coils to make sure they aren't blocked by dust and debris. We hope this helps!
