We are an ecommerce market leader for replacement parts in the USA and Canada. We’re always looking for capable people to join our team and a great opportunity awaits a self-motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Labourer to work in our new Canadian parts distribution centre. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Labourer will join our new warehouse team to support the setup, development, and daily operation of our distribution centre.

As a Warehouse Labourer, you will be responsible to:
  • Support the physical setup of the warehouse for distribution activities
  • Take direction and contribute to the development of procedures and processes to establish an efficient daily operation
  • Process outbound shipments (pick, pack, label, and ship orders)
  • Process inbound shipments (receive, unpack, record, and stock inventory)
  • Maintain complete and accurate records relating to shipping, receiving, and inventory management
  • Perform physical inventory counts, other inventory processes, and product relocation as necessary
  • Operate and preventatively maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
  • Cooperate and collaborate with managers and coworkers to solve problems and maintain efficient operations
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards and comply with company policies, processes, and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse working environment
  • In the absence of leadership, be able to be self-directed
The skills and attributes required in this position include:
  • Ability to lift moderate to heavy objects
  • Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and walk for long periods of time during shift
  • Ability to operate light warehouse vehicles and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively at all levels
  • Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changes in processes and procedures
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of current technology including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years old
  • Must be able to work in Canada
The skills and attributes that are considered an asset for this position include:
  • Proven working experience in a warehouse
  • Current forklift license
  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods

This is a permanent full-time (40 hours) position and includes evening and weekend hours. Standardized testing may be conducted as part of the screening process.
