This single drum bearing slide is an OEM approved replacement part for dryers. It can also be known as a bearing drum slide, pad, or glide. The slides attach to the inner most slots on the front bearing. As the dryer rotates, the drum bearing slides help to support the front of the drum. If your appliance becomes noisy, is not drying properly, or leaves marks on clothes, it may be time to replace it. If you are replacing one slide, we recommend replacing the other slide at the same time, as they deteriorate at a similar rate. You will need to order 2 of these parts as there are 2 in each dryer. It is approximately 2.6-inches deep, 0.06-inches in height, and 0.5-inches wide. This part is denoted as being green in the title, however users and technicians have noted it is actually gray in color.

It provides support to the front of the drum as it rotates. They are approximately 3-inches long, 1 inch wide and made from a durable white plastic. If your appliance starts making unusual sounds, is not drying clothes properly, or leaves marks on clothes, it may be time to replace this part. The dryer has 2 slides, which we recommend replacing at the same time, as they tend to wear out at the same rate. You will need to order 2 of this part to replace both drum bearing slides, since it is sold individually. Before you begin this repair, be sure to disconnect the power to the dryer.

Located on the inside of the dryer front panel, the front drum bearing helps your appliance to operate as quietly as possible. It allows the front of the drum to glide smoothly on the felt seal of the front panel when the drum is rotating. This manufacturer-approved part is made of a durable white plastic and measures approximately 9 inches by 20 inches. If your dryer makes a continuous banging noise while it is powered on, it is likely that the drum bearings need to be replaced. Keep in mind that the drum slides should be replaced at the same and will need to be purchased separately (the front drum bearing holds 4 glides), as this part includes the bearing only.

When the glides wear down, it can cause a metal-on-metal noise while the machine is tumbling. If you notice that your dryer is excessively noisy, is not tumbling, or is leaving marks on your clothes, it may be time to replace the glides. This genuine OEM part is sold individually, however we recommend replacing both glides at the same time to ensure even wear. This is a replacement bearing ring kit for your dryer. The bearing rings are found on the top and bottom lips of the dryer drum. If your dryer is unusually noisy, or the drum will not turn during operation, or if there are marks left on your clothes after a cycle, you may need to replace the bearing ring kit. The kit comes with 2 bearings, one for the top and one for the bottom of the dryer drum. Remove the front panel of your dryer to access the dryer drum for this repair. At this point you can use a pair of needle nose pliers to release the old bearing rings from the drum. Snap the new bearing rings on, and reassemble the dryer to complete your repair.

This part is sold individually and is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. The drum baffle is found inside the dryer drum, and it helps tumble your clothes.
