The shoe assembly is located at the front of the reciprocating saw and helps to direct the blade while you cut. The most common reason this part is replaced is just from simply misplacing it. If the saw is used roughly, the pivot hinge between the mounting bar and the shoe can damage, which can cause the shoe to fall off. Never use your saw without this part intact as it could cause damage to your equipment. For this easy repair, use your Allen wrench to remove the screws and this will allow you to remove the shoe. To install the new shoe assembly, line up the forks with the housing and slide it into position. To finish, tighten the screws back up and it is ready to go.

This is a carbon brush, it is also known as a motor brush, and it is used with various power tools and equipment. The brush transfers electric currents to the motor. Your motor brush is an extremely common replacement part. It is considered a wear part, because the constant friction will wear it down. If you are experiencing a poor running motor, you will need to replace this part. New brushes will restore your motors electric braking. We recommend also inspecting your armature for damaging cracks or burns, this can indicate a larger problem in your motor that will require attention.

This part includes one brush and holder. Your tool likely requires two brushes, so please order accordingly, as it is always advised to replace both brushes at the same time. If you are experiencing an inconsistent motor or one that does not work at all, a lot of times this is due to worn brushes. This is a very common repair, so we recommend inspecting them regularly. If burns or smoking are present, be sure to check the armature as well.

This part includes one OEM shoe assembly for a reciprocating saw. The shoe assembly gives support while your tool is operating by acting as a spacer/stop. It also assists in limiting vibration and kickback. This part is commonly replaced because it gets lost. When it is used roughly, the pivot hinge between the mounting bar and the shoe assembly can break and this can cause the shoe assembly to fall off. For this repair you will need a torx screwdriver. Start by removing the screws that hold the shoe assembly to the housing, remove the old shoe, and secure the new shoe with the two screws.

Designed for use with select Milwaukee tools, this OEM approved replacement Brush fits a variety of models. To see if this part will fit your tool, please see the "Model Cross Reference List" below. This brush is made out of a durable carbon alloy, has a lead wire and spring attached to it, and its primary purpose is to conduct electrical current from the stationary wires to the moving parts of your tool. Brushes are one of the most commonly replaced power tool parts because carbon brushes are wear items, meaning that through friction and use they will gradually wear away until they need replacing. Worn brushes are a common cause of intermittent motor function, reduced electric braking, and reduced motor power. A worn-out brush will often be worn down near to the wire lead and can be cracked, pitted, or burned. Brushes are sold individually, and might also be known as Carbon Brushes or Motor Brushes. It is recommended to replace both brushes, even if only one is worn.
